Daiwa J-Braid Grand X8 is an improved version of the famous J-Braid X8 cords. The J-Braid Grand series was developed by Japanese engineers to achieve even better results when casting and during retrieval. The result exceeded expectations: the characteristics of the J-Braid Grand X8 cord are perfectly optimized, it is suitable for fishing in both fresh and salt water.

The new J-Braid Grand X8 cord has a denser weave, which makes it possible to increase an indicator of its wear resistance, tensile strength and knot strength. In addition, it is completely smooth and even more silent. Being somewhat stiffer than the usual J-Braid X8, the new Grand demonstrates excellent results in windy weather, when it is not so easy to make an accurate cast.
