SHIMANO VANFORD spinning reels provide easy winding and are equipped with an MGL rotor. The Micro Module II gearing and Silent Drive system also work together to improve smoothness, reduce gear noise and eliminate minute rattles and vibrations for a new level of smooth rotation.

Providing a dose of durability, Shimano Vanford spinning reels are made with HAGANE cold forged aluminum gear that is 30% stronger than Stradic FK to ensure reliable and tough performance. The coils are reinforced with X-Protect technology, which works to eliminate corrosion and performance loss over time.

Shimano Vanford Spinning Reels are the most technical and advanced spinning reels in their class. The weight of the coils has decreased by 5–15 grams, depending on the size.
