Shimano Stradic 19' - the best reel in terms of price-quality ratio

The internal mechanism of the 2019 Shimano Stradic reel has undergone major changes; for the first time in this segment, Micromodule Gear 2 and Silentdrive technologies were used, which significantly increased the power of the reel, while significantly reducing noise and improving smoothness and softness.

The main gear of the reel is made using the already well-known HAGANE technology, the production of which uses high-precision equipment and the cold forging method.

The reel body is also made using HAGANE technology, which makes the metal reel body quite rigid and light.

For the first time, the X Protect system was used on Shimano Stradic 19' reels, which provides it with a water-repellent effect due to its labyrinth structure.

Shimano Stradic 19' reels are equipped with a new Long Stroke Spool - thanks to the increased length, it was possible to achieve an increase in casting distance by 5% - 7% compared to a conventional spool.

The New Stradic features a compact, low-friction roller clutch. The developers have significantly reduced the resistance by implementing it better than conventional models.

Like the top segment, the reel handle is screwed into the body, minimizing backlash and improving tactile sensations.
